As always it was a huge honor to be apart of this event for the 3rd year. The other artists are very creative, talented and unique and I was happy to spend time with fellow local artists.

pARTicipation Dinner 2015
For this year's pARTicipation event at the Art and History museum of Maitland, I decided to recreate the murmuration formations of birds, using colored zip ties. The idea was to see the zip ties as flocks of tree swallows forming a tornado of birds that dance in unison. I also used local wildflower clipping bouquets around the base of the structure. The colors of the zip ties made the table eye catching, I also brought in glow sticks for the guests and to accent the neon colors.
As always it was a huge honor to be apart of this event for the 3rd year. The other artists are very creative, talented and unique and I was happy to spend time with fellow local artists.

Participation and murmuration
I am currently working on my artist table for the 2015 Participation event at The Art and History Museum Maitland on May 2. I am very grateful to be welcomed back to participate in such a fun event. Artist's are asked to create a table for 10 guests to enjoy while being entertained by unique performs and gourmet foods.
I will also have a piece up for action at the event. The Capen House Barge inspired by the surreal orchestration of moving the historic Capen house across lake Oseola in Winter Park.
If you are interested in this event, tickets are available here.

Culture Pop! 3/6/2015
It was a huge pleasure to be apart of last week's Culture Pop! At the Art and History center Maitland. This month is Art31, promoting experimentational and collaborative art making. I was asked to create an installation around the center's beautiful live oak tree.

Casa Feliz No Place LIke Home show 1-8-2015
Great opening night! Huge turnout on a chilly night. Great food and art in a beautiful location. Casa Feliz was also set for demolition before being saved and moved across a lake. Much of the show was traditional plein air paintings, all with the common theme of Winter Park architecture and historic preservation.

Majorette sets
I grew up playing with a similar set by Majorette, my afternoons were absorbed by building a super city: buildings, cars, street signs. An industrial paradise. The French toy maker was primarily known for majorette die cast cars, which I also got handed down from my older brother. Finding a connection between my recent OrlandoLand paper collages and the toys I played with as a child. Follow my series on instagram @ orlandoland407
